So Anyway...

Has anyone else had problems with Fedex tracking?
any link I use or pasting the tracking number in I get an error page, for the last few weeks.

Made of Metal (M.O.M.) was a Priest, Fight, Halford, tribute type band
Robert and I both know James the singer, and Rick the bassist from
Fire Control.

Indeed I know James from M.O.M. quite well and am pleased to see he is doing so well.

James and I met in 2017 and started a musical partnership/friendship.

Jim had been involved with a SoCal band called "Blind Attribution" (BA) and after it dissolved, he started a cover band called "Garage Band Project" (GBP) with the former BA bassist and a super talented drummer named Eric Wright

I was quickly recruited and we spent about 6 months getting up to speed at the bassist's garage in Riverside, when suddenly, the bassist announced he had lost the desire to go out and perform, so the project stalled.

Jim and I then formed a band called "Geezer" shortly afterwards and Rick (the bassist Mitch mentions from M.O.M) was the earliest recruited member.

This band grew into "Fire Control," (FC) which was another Judas Priest Tribute group. Unfortunately, there would be major conflicts within the band due to the negative personalities of some of its members and there were several rapid lineup changes.

At one point, the new (FC) bassist recruited his guitar playing friend, and both quickly united to try and kick Jim out of the band, not realizing that I was the "silent" band leader, when they quietly announced their plans to initiate a coup.

They tried to take over FC after failing to get enough members in order to get their own project off the ground. (These two would later form a band called "Xactabox.")

Interestingly, the current lead guitarist in M.O.M. auditioned for James's band (GBP) just before it disbanded in 2018. He's a really great, albeit much younger guitarist, who supports several SoCal bands with his skills.

How's that for a story???

M.O.M. Put on quite a show the night I seen them.. and all members seem to be hitting a great stride in their capabilities..

So anyway, had to say goodbye to my best friend yesterday.
He was the sweetest, gentlest, most caring soul.

Milo was 10 1/2, had some chronic health issues, but was doing ok until overnight Saturday / Sunday morning.

With the holiday Monday, my vet was closed but I know of another well regarded animal hospital within 30min.

He is free now: Run Milo, Run.

I / we have been trying to mentally prepare for the inevitable life cycle and treasure the memories and happy times.
But I'm still really f'd up.
