Good grief !! Why don't you practice more or improv with such a beautiful room?? Do you remember what garages look like?
Good on ya Wav! I like reading that kind of stuff! I hope the new gig gives you many happy days. The best thing that happened to me today is having the VP of the company that I work for tell me that starting next Monday, I'll be making more money![]()

I haven't had to file for 3 years because of my SSDI which is nice not to have to deal with it.New guitar. Chinese food for dinner. My accountant told me that I do not owe any more tax and may even get a refund. Despite a sore throat and a cough, it has been a nice day.
Thanks Don! It was a good year, and the begining of this one has been good too. So why do I always worry about tomorrow?Yay Ray! Digging the new axe! Sounds like business is good. Stay healthy though!
You are a true optimist! I hope whatever qualifies you for SSD does not cause you too much pain or trouble.I haven't had to file for 3 years because of my SSDI which is nice not to have to deal with it.
Well...not to get all Star Trekkie on you, but....Thanks Don! It was a good year, and the begining of this one has been good too. So why do I always worry about tomorrow?
Yep, coupled with a need for the unattainable...control.Well...not to get all Star Trekkie on you, but....
Fear of the unknown?
Thanks RVA. I deal with it but stupidity got the best of me. It don't stop me from playing guitar though.....You are a true optimist! I hope whatever qualifies you for SSD does not cause you too much pain or trouble.
My initials are ATM.
That was good for a whole boatload of running jokes when my children were teenagers.)
OK, how many guitarists does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
That's the funniest thing I've heard today
And leads to more of my pet hates ...
People saying ATM machine. So they are saying "Automated Teller Machine Machine".
And following up with, PIN number, they are saying "Personal Identification Number Number".
Life gets in my way too. That's my #1 excuse for not practicing.Life is happening (not the good bits) for one member of my band in particular. Time gets short, and one must prioritize.
Thank you. I do love my studio though, and spend a bit of time there myself. I used to record demos for a few local bands in our down time...that’s where some gear came from...like the Marshall 4X12....flexible payment plans, and such.
I park my car in my garage often, so yes, I do remember what garages look like.![]()
I was gonna say Type A, but I think control covers thatYep, coupled with a need for the unattainable...control.
That is soooo close to my version you stole all my fun for the day. Takes 11. One to do it and ten to tell him how he coulda done it better.Let's see....
There'll need to be one guitarist to ask if there is any TAB for how to screw in the light bulb...
Then, we'll need another guitarist to explain why we really should have standard notation for the light bulb, not TAB...
Of course, we'll need the guitarist who insists he can figure out how to screw in the bulb by ear. He'll be the one with the burn mark on the side of his head...
Just about the time one guitarist gets brave and attempts to screw the bulb in, another one will stop him and say, "No, that's not right!"
Invariably, there will be the guitarist who randomly runs around the room and just throws light bulbs at the socket, in a sort of "light bulb solo."
Think I like yours better. If any of em could pay attention that long.

In the end, we'll get the sound guy to do it.
