I have played one of these, and I own one of the next model up. I binge tried a whole bunch while they were being sued out of existence by the big G. I bought, and still have 2 from this line...a LP style, and a LP JR Special style...good stuff...if you can find them.

I've seen the red Gibson LP Studios in person and they look better in person than in pictures.
My guess is that this guitar is a deeper, wine red than the picture suggests.

I quite agree. I looked everywhere you guys said, and my offer on that 2005 expired 22 minutes ago !! It's a sign. I offered $210 on Cherry Red (I know wine when I see it !!) I'll end up buying this one. Does Affirm turn down anyone? My credit sucks.
