No comment.Besides. You could go on for a long time naming them all. You kind of miss the point about Shawn .
Ramo knows his Shred.Shaw Lane was very fast and underrated..
There are so many shredders out there…
Michael Romeo
Rusty Cooley
Jeff Loomis
Chris Broderick
Paul Gilbert
Steve Vai
And many many more….
All those guys you mentioned are not shredders Except Marty and Jason.
Shred is different level of playing, some enjoy some say its not musical bla bla…
But its still shredistic![]()
gball,, that Steve Howe guy. The MAN is from another planet.OK, he played a lot of notes really fast, gotta give him props for that. I don't think any of it sounds very musical and I don't enjoy listening to his playing. A guy like Paul Gilbert can play just as fast but it sounds like music, not an exercise. And of course EVH and UJR (and Steve Howe if we are being honest) were older and had this stuff down before he ever came on the scene, without even getting into the fusion guys.
Ramo knows his Shred.
Rusty Cooley gets a nod. Nice.
Yup, that's Rusty.
I had his solo work. Suspended animation… really good album… not keen on Dream Theatre thoYup, that's Rusty.
in some ways, he reminds me of John Petrucci. MAN o Man check out John at 4:30+. I listened first, then went back and watched him shred.
I saw loomis play years ago in Nevermore . He and Chris Broderick had that band. I think they were from Seattle.Shredistic
I have seen Dream Theater. Patrucci is a great player as is so many players before him.Yup, that's Rusty.

Discipline, talent, lots dedication and practice.I saw loomis play years ago in Nevermore . He and Chris Broderick had that band. I think they were from Seattle.
They are both great players . I wonder how they ever get to be so good ?
A great musician, same experience, spent time with all his fans.
Time , influences and vision also. With out influences they would have no direction.Discipline, talent, lots dedication and practice.
