Shred before the shredders

OK, he played a lot of notes really fast, gotta give him props for that. I don't think any of it sounds very musical and I don't enjoy listening to his playing. A guy like Paul Gilbert can play just as fast but it sounds like music, not an exercise. And of course EVH and UJR (and Steve Howe if we are being honest) were older and had this stuff down before he ever came on the scene, without even getting into the fusion guys.

Shaw Lane was very fast and underrated..

There are so many shredders out there…
Michael Romeo
Rusty Cooley
Jeff Loomis
Chris Broderick
Paul Gilbert
Steve Vai

And many many more….

All those guys you mentioned are not shredders Except Marty and Jason.

Shred is different level of playing, some enjoy some say its not musical bla bla…

But its still shredistic
Ramo knows his Shred.

Rusty Cooley gets a nod. Nice.

I just happed upon the video and managed to stick out to the end.
#1 was not as obvious as I thought would be. He stands in very heavy field of shredders.
