I don't post this one because it's not put together anymore. I really need to get it going again, but I want to buy a different neck for it when I do. I had it set up with a short scale conversion neck, but I think a "real" Tele needs a long scale maple neck to sound right.
I wasn't going to add photos since my two Tele's aren't official Fender Teles. Nor do they have figured tops. Then I figured.... what the heck. The brown one is a SAGA kit guitar I purchased years ago off eBay. It was beyond ugly since the assembler guy used a paint brush to apply color. Sanded it down to bare wood. Stained it and added multiple coats of Tung Oil. I did add a 4-Way switch. Different bridge for thru body string mounting.
The green one is an ash body blank I also purchased years ago. Stained Emerald Green and will get numerous coats of Tru-Oil. Warmoth neck. P90 pups. And a few other goodies. The grain pattern really doesn't come out real well in the photo.... but is pretty nice looking in person.
Everything is basically a partscaster with fender.. Leo was smart, its the Ford production line of guitars. I favor Gibson because of the music played over the years but fenders are such easy guitars to mess with
