SG Neck Dive

I have two SG's, a '12 60's tribute & a '20 Standard 61. I always play standing & have no neck dive problems with either. I use a 2 1/2" wide single ply leather strap with the 60's tribute, so it has a naturally roughish underside. I hate tight fitting clothing, can't wear it, so any shirt I wear is loose fitting, no problem with the strap dragging my shirt 'round at all. With the Standard 61 I use the 2" wide thin single ply leather Gibson strap that came as part of the case candy. This one's underside is quite smooth but still no neck dive. Whenever not playing I keep my forearm across the bout which counters any dive inclination. Of course if I bend down or slouch forward the guitar falls away from me & will tend to dive, but so long as I'm standing straight it's no problem at all. Cheers
Edit:
The 60's tribute has Grovers, the Standard 61 Kluson. Cheers

Heck, my '18 SG has locking Grovers from the factory. More weight yet and still no neck dive. And rolling forward? Never experienced this. Should we be discussing the shape and size of members bellies? Maybe this has something to do with it?

Cador, I saw this coming. While I used to be quite slim but muscular, I am now thick as a Rottweiler.
Also back to what Ivan said. If his one SG has no dive despite Grovers, plus your locking ones, I also might surmise some of the neck woods might have more density and weight than the bodies they are coupled to as well. And of course strap button placement might have an effect.

Is yours heavy (the SG)? Almost 8 lbs, like mine is,, is a fairly heavy SG I think?

My 67 definitely had neck dive.
But also don't forget that earlier SGs have extended necks, and later SGs have the neck pulled more into the body.
But I love the SG so much, it doesn't matter if the neck dives.
I think it takes more than Grover tuners to cause neck dive...it's just that the earlier SGs had a longer neck extension / more leverage to cause a dive.
