Rock N Roll Tonight

Ok,

So yesterday, we had some time near the end of our session and we decided to lay down the vocals for Beat To Death Like A Dog. This isn't a great cut, just something we though we would record and listen to during the week and see if it's something we want to move forward with. It's a tough song to sing in certain parts due to the unusual time signature and several vocal progressions are really close together, requiring a lot of breathing discipline, which bar singers like myself are not born with, so I'll just call this a work in progress for right now.

I'm really happy with the guitar solo, even though the mix is not at all right on this scratch track.

Here's the latest version...

Reminds me of 42Decibal ..
great work brother.
Love the guitar tone,, is that through the Ivanberg ??
Cheers

That had a very convincing Marshall tone .

The Blackstar is my main recording amp right now. I've been using it direct-out on recordings since 2018.

Part of the reason for that is I can't really run a tube amp here with a microphone on it, let alone at the volumes where I think they start to sound good.

The Origin line out doesn't record well. I've tried it.

But thank you for the kind words, Man!!!!
