Thanks. I think it is because the hot goes to a shared tone potWhat I see different from the Seymour Duncan and Guitar Electronics is how the tone pot is wired.
SD using the middle lug for the cap and the right lug to tip of output jack. GE has this reversed.
Don't know if this makes a difference or not....

Yes, that is very cool, thank you. It does share that element where the combined hot from the switch goes to the shared tonejust be aware the these 3rd party diagrams are all generic design. what I posted above is the factory wiring.

Good point. :dood:
Didn't mean to step on anyones toes.
Oh your good string . . . I found out the hard way, and just wanted to pass along what I found.
Gibson does strange wiring at times.
I am second guessing my reading on this. I need to print and look closer. Thanks
You just need to do it, if while playing mine and I feel as though I want to sit for a bit, I have a tall barstool, that I can still sit with it strapped up, but I prefer standing..Cool project. I love V's but for some reason as great as they feel and sound I have never been able to actually pull the trigger on one.
All our threads have at least 3 rails!!You just need to do it, if while playing mine and I feel as though I want to sit for a bit, I have a tall barstool, that I can still sit with it strapped up, but I prefer standing..

I only tend to sit on the barstool, when I am trying to work something out, then stand so I go back an forth, but mostly standing.Actually, I never play sitting down. I can never get comfortable.
