Every tweak he used sounded right on it.
Wish I had his ears lol

He's got vidios for beginners to pro and explains how to record each instrument. Theres vidios on mixing but is based more on metal. The technics should apply to most genresNot
Not too bad lol most informative
It was cool that I have that same daw up on my desktop, was easy follow what he was doing since I wasn't trying to follow unfamiliar keystrokes and commandsHe's got vidios for beginners to pro and explains how to record each instrument. PETA People for Eating Tasty Animalsand as a card carrying lifelong member of the CHEAP BASTARD SOCIETY -- that is the redeming quality that keeps me from strapping him to a railroad track and allowing dingos to eat him slowly -----that and the cholesterol content would be seen as animal cruelty to the dingos---and then PETA would be on MY ARSE-- and well -- them folks scare me ........................
That's what I mean by 'ranty'.Lol
He rags on all members of a band but really hits the bassist, vocalist and drummers.
The big thing he coments the most is know yourbefor going to a stodio and waiting people's time and the bands funds
Sorry, late night at work....Ok @Thatbastarddon , I'm having some volume pumping type issues.
Am I correct in assuming that it has to do with compression?
Compressing sub groupSorry, late night at work....
It is possible...compression can create a “pumping” effect.
Particularly with threshold settings too low...causing the compression to kick in often...
if you’re using a plugin, like Reacomp, that has a gain reduction meter....you can adjust the threshold so that the reduction meter reads -3dB during peak content.
Are you compressing the master bus?....or a subgroup bus(folder)?
And yes,bim using reacompSorry, late night at work....
