Here's an original song I wrote that started with me driving down the road going "da da da da da, da da da da da da" and morphed into a melody.
The song - written in 2017 but not completed until 2020 - is somewhat political in nature, but it really stemmed from my own observations of how our country has become increasingly anti-American within itself.
I was watching a news program one morning about how the widespread bank foreclosures had put many families on the streets and then I saw groups burning the American flag and the song just grew from those two points of observation...
Anyways, that's how a complete song - even the solo - was created from a hummed melody...
