ANd you could carry the latest and greatest cassette cases in your jacket pocket ........with smokes or tokes or .... ludes.........and no one ever suspected at school............ if asked you SHOW the "RATT" cassette (with actual CASSETTE in IT) and folks moved along....the Aerosmith Cassette case had the "goods" ............................er so I have heard......
 
I don't do anymore. Youtube has a speed setting for an easy way to do that.

But I do remember, yes I do. Nice not to have to so it that way.

I remember the first time I heard the Def Leppard album Pyromania. I recently put it on loop and played along...like totally rediscovering it again. Good memories...

I sold hollowed out (discarded) textbooks for $10 as a kid...
 
My friend’s older brother had a 340 Cuda six pack. He could eject the 8 track tape with his gas pedal. We’d drive around town laughing our heads off telling him to boot it so we could see the tape fly out.
 
I just dont play vinyl anymore and don't play the same section over and over on that way to figure out parts of a solo anymore.
Gotta figure much of the song by ear. Onljne waaaay too much is simply wrong.

In the studio, a lot of my work is when a songwriter hums me a tune and wants me to create a riff from the hummed song idea, so I rely on my ears a great deal...

That's how our gal writes too, for the most part. Lots done by ear amd I seem to be sensitive to out of tune guitars. Just one string a touch out makes me cringe. Thus all the wrong stuff online
