It is the nicest guitar ever got but have struggled with it until, had it up on Chopping block to trade..first guitar was SG & it had 9's & downtuned cause of singer,..last week did9's & D standard tuning . Every Gibson P 90 ever had had a way dif sound. This woke up right up with these 2 minor changes. I love the guitar.
Good to hear! Maybe mine was just a lemon but it made me gun shy when it comes to SG's.

Lol he used a lot of BC Rich Bichs early on in the Metallica days and even with Megadeth initially too. But he also has always had an explorer type of guitar in his arsenal whenever he signed with another company
