I can go 400 miles on a tank in my Mustang. Its a very comfortable car to travel in. I been driving since 15-1/2 and I've never ran out of gas, but i flew airplanes with my dad before i had a driver's license, so i think more like a pilot.

Electric cars are fine, but im opposed to mandating them...or mandating anything, for that matter, through legislative obsolescence and other forms of political gerrymandering.

My colleagues drive Ferraris, Aston Martin's and Lamborghinis, so when the subject of electric cars come up, they just giggle.

Try the Isky EE-350 Solid Lifter in your 429.

Use Isky 507-STA retainers
Stock big block chevy valve springs
Isky 11/32" X .060" Lash Caps
Stock Length 429 pushrods
Stock big block chevy rocker arms.

Remember the Ford rocker is 1.76 so you'll lose a little net valve lift, but the chevy rockers have a better fulcrum.
 
You can restrict oiling to non side-oiler FE engines by cutting a piece of 1/4" copper tubing, 1.5 inches long, and soldering an old Holley main jet in one end, then drilling the hole to .125".

Simply drop this into the oil hole in the #3 rocker shaft mount and you'll have plenty of oil up top, but better hot oil pressure at idle.
