Question so I don't blow something up

Well I'm SOL as far as pedals and shizz...I have a BOSS TU-3, and a Friedman BE OD. And that's it. Well, occasionally a little bit of Crybaby too, but that's quite literally it. None of which have stereo outputs....so....I guess my idea won't work
oh DUde........................................................behold-- the KLON ;)

Never tried one of those before.

I'll consider your offer lol
I'm not exactly looking to move the JOYO, but if I can't make it tickle my....well, you know....then it may be having no more reason to stick around lol

I'm not real huge on pedals, if I can help it, generally

Can I run the send from the joyo into the input of the DSL, out of curiosity?

It wouldn't help me gain controls of the Joyo back, but I would then at least be able to shape the sound using the Marshall's controls
Yes you can, but the Dsl would have to be on the clean channel.
Cheers

I like fresh snow for a little while because the dogs like to tear-arse around in it, but other than that its just a nuisance.
I never tried running stereo, my reverb pedal has stereo out. I will try this soon.

@mcblink practice soldering on some old bits; repetition will yield fast increases of your skill level.
Always solder clean parts, clean and tin your tip before the next go and dont use the lead free crap solder.

Well I tried the JOYO every which way I could, but it just sounds like a can full o' bees unless it's plugged into a cabinet all by itself. I guess from now on, it gets it's own 4x12. Oh well, was worth a try.

Blow something up?

Why, heavens no! Nothing like that will happen.

Maybe a slight little “pfft”, if that. It will only last a second and then the magic smoke will escape.

But, nothing will actually “blow up”!
One time, when I was much younger, I had a little Crate. At this point in time I was involved with the church and the youth worship team, and I showed up to band practice one day and we thought, "I bet this would sound cool if we plugged it into the church's PA!" So we did, it made it a minute or so, then it started making horrible noise, smoking, and sparking....I ran to shut it down as quickly as possible but when I grabbed the amp, it bit me! Zapped me pretty good actually lol. I ripped the cord out of the socket eventually and it stopped, but the amp never worked again and it always smelled awful. Tossed that thing out and got my first Marshall which I still have today.

So yeah, it didn't actually explode, but it did let all the magic smoke out. Lol

I just always remember frying my first amp through inexperience and I think about that every time I go to plugging cables into something I'm not entirely sure about lol

Mate if you think that's bad wait to hear my story lol

I begged my mum to buy me a electric guitar, when i got it i didnt know i needed amp :)

So i took the cord they gave me and i tried to plug it in straight in to 220v socket, i was like how do you make this thing work???? And keep fiddling with cord i got nice buzz of electricity, my mum said stop doing that and lets ask in a shop how you can turn it on. LoL

Im not kidding i was very dumb , i still am but now we have internet and i can look things up :)

That's hilarious!
I think I was about 15 or so when this happened to me, but I had been playing for a few years already. I don't remember ever trying to plug directly into the wall though lol

It would be nice if that's all we had to do though, right? Just plug into the wall and get good tones...lol

I always have to take my shirt off before I get good sounds ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
