Question For All The Strat Users Out There......

who actually LIKES the springie hollow sound that some strats make (trem spring vibrationwhen playing)? I know many put socks or rubbers on their springs (so man jokes so little time) but ,,,,,,,, I kinda LIKE that "vibe" to be IN THERE it sort of makes it more STRAT-ish

I know I'm late to this thread, but I agree with @eSGEe above in that I think that springy thing is part of the "Strat sound".
I do use the wiggle stick, lightly, no radical dive bombing etc. The trem is set up floating, as per Leo's intentions.
My Strat (2012 Select SSS) is 100% stock. Cheers

It is such a part of the Strat sound that I'm thinking of gouging out the backs of all my guitars and putting springs in them. Just to get that springy sound.


Hmmm... might not work so well on my hollow body.
