Traded this for a VHT Special 6 Ultra head I had. I like this a whole lot more. It has tube screamer circuitry built in, nice foot switch with long cable, and a 5w/15w switch.

OMG! This amp rocks. Easily kept up with a drummer, bass, and two other guitars. It is the perfect blues amp, no pedals, volume on 3/4, tone at noon, creamy natural breakup, back off the guitar volume and decent almost cleans. Other players were taking pictures of it asking where they can get one. The guy has around 50 more. $365 CDN delivered by post. Might be a bit more to the US. I thought it would be a home amp. It's way too loud for that but for small gigs it's perfect.Took delivery of a low power gem this afternoon. It's a 1955 military amp converted into a guitar amp. it has two 6AQ5 power tubes, two 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 6X4 rectifier tubes. It has a small built in five inch speaker which sounds surprisingly OK. I'm using through an open back cab with an Emminence P50E speaker. The guy that modified it added a five way switch with a bunch of resistors. As you turn the switch you get more crunch. He claims fifteen watts but from everything I could find on the tubes it's more like eight to ten. In any case it is really loud. I'll find out tonight how loud. I'm going to try it in a local blues jam. Just noticed how dusty that cab is. Have to clean that off before I take it out

There is one here but it's not the best quality sound. I tried to record one with my iPhone but couldn't get the sound not to distort.Any video clips of these amps floating around?
It has an 8 ohm and a 16 ohm spear jack. I think the video is through a 1x12 cab. The little speaker is OK but I will never use it. It is like putting a 500 rpm governor on a formula one car. It will get you around the track but what's the point?Thats a good sound for that sized speaker. IS there a line out to run to a bigger cabinet?
Yes... in that video your hearing the extension cabinet. What a cool setup... :dood:Thats a good sound for that sized speaker. IS there a line out to run to a bigger cabinet?
