Post up your hollow and semi-hollow love

It’s a re-purposed bedroom. In the original pic, that’s the closet. On that back wall I glued over 5000 corks, nearly a 1/4 of my collection. Here’s the rest of the panarama. The theme is ESPN Zone meets House of Blues.

Very nice! It must be another 1,000 corks in that frame. 20,000 corks is a lot of wine and champagne! That room lots of toys to stay a boy!

Very nice looking axe there Blackie.:celebrate2:

Guess where I got it Blues Session 5? The PAWN SHOP!:) Got it for about $600-$700 which I think is a great deal. BTW I was in the pawn shop yesterday and guess what I saw? A white Godin Belmont guitar with a Bigsy vibrato...what do you think of those models?

So then Don, you are......really a CORK SNIFFER then??? Like heavy duty terminal velocity addicted style :)

Was that the white one with the black pickguard? Those are a Sweet guitar Blackie how much he asking did you play it?

I think it had a black pick guard and lip-stick tube pick-ups on them in an S-S-S configuration. It sure felt & played really good and I think they were asking around $650 if I remember. I didn't have the money since I'm bit on a tight budget but it sure was a sweet guitar, especially with the Bigsby vibrato. It seemed to stay in tune very well. It was a groovy guitar Blues Session 5...you probably would have loved it yourself since it's a GODIN.:)

I started collecting corks around 1980. My 4 wheel drive friends would save their corks for me too. Pretty soon people at work discovered I collected them and I could come in to work and find corks on my keyboard. Everywhere we went wine tasting I’d ask if they had any corks. Almost all of them happily gave me a bag full. The best score was a tasting room in Alameda CA, a while back. They gave me two full grocery shopping bags full. Before I started the wall I had 20 computer paper boxes full of corks.
