Couple of things about the video. First, the guy should make at least a cursory attempt to play the same things through each amp. Next, he should at least try to do a clean/crunch/distortion comparo between them. Next, I don't care if one amp doesn't compress, don't put a boost in front of it unless you put it in front of all of them man. And if you are gonna dime an amp to display it's distortion tone don't just hit one note and hang onto it until it feeds back
That being said, in order of preference:
1. Cornell. By a mile. Not even close.
2. Katana. Not a popular choice in this slot but it's distortion tones are much better than anything else I heard in the video.
3. Supro. Thought I'd like it more but maybe it needs to be wound up some.
4. Marshall. That was some of the worst tone I have ever heard come out of a Marshall. Really disappointing considering the cost of that amp, and I have heard people get amazing sounds out of those Astorias, so I know its in there. Maybe same problem as the Supro, maybe homey don't know how to dial it in?
