That sure is a beauty geetar BocceBall69er! Do you remember me telling you I saw the same exact one in the pawn shop but in Candy Apple Red for about $1,500. How much did you pay for yours and did you get it brand new?

;>)/

Yea blacky my friend....Got it New, freshly picked. I think you would need to add a bunch of pennies to that price. She wasn't cheap.....But O so worth it.

Anyone know what species this little guy/gal might be?

I was just checking to see if I had another batch of blueberries ripe, and ready to pick, when I stumbled in to this tiny little thing...just chillin in a high bush blueberry.

Nice geetar Bocc69 you mean its more comfortable than an SG I believe that, so is my Godin Strats. Enjoy playing it bud and like that white.:)

Thanks bud!! Not quite as light as the SG, but so very smooth and comfy.

But.......they are both being neglected because of my recent acquisition. They know I'll be back, so they forgive.

Took this pic of a hummy about two weeks ago. Last night I was on the porch yapping on the phone and I kept getting buzzed by one. They are so cool.

Nice pic!
I have seen a couple around recently. Never seen one sitting still though. I could have picked it up.
It had no color to it, and it did look pretty beat. It’s gone now.
My first reaction was hummingbird... but the ones around here usually have some color to them(greenish hues etc), don’t they?

Yup, the ruby throated hummingbird. The adults are green, and the male is green with red throat patch. It's the only hummy in our area.

I took a picture of a baby one a few years ago. It had the same pose as yours....I'll have to dig that picture up.

After studying your picture a bit more....notice the dots on its neck?? Yup, I'm now quite certain. Baby Ruby Throated hummingbird. 99.9% on my BabyBird-O Meter
