Photography, wildlife and more

Now my favourite.
A zoomed shot of a Damselfly on a Dragonfly!
Or is it? I am still not sure.
Look at the reflections.
As I snapped the Dragonfly laying eggs, the Damselfly appeared, seemingly standing on the Dragonfly's back.
No Photoshop. Just cropping and lighting adjustments in Lightroom.

I might as well jump in here with a couple of snaps.
Camera: Nikon D7100. Nikon lenses: 35mm; 50mm; 10-24mm; 16-85mm.

Hope Valley

These kind of shots remind of the words from a John Denver song; “there a storm across the valley, the clouds are rolling in..”

Taken from our kitchen window on Christmas Eve last year.

Wow TTR has some real talented photogs here!

I was an ENG/EFP videographer for a decade, later moved into director/producer role. Quit that after purchasing a community newspaper and ran that for a decade as Editor/Reporter/Salesguy.
So I have a have a love for the captured image. Never had that "natural" eye like some lucky folks have, I need to work at it a bit harder than many. But I do love taking pictures.
Mostly landscape stuff, because so many years of talking heads, b-roll, grip 'n grins and accident scenes kind of have driven me towards natural images of solitude type stuff.

My eyes are kind of going which takes a lot of the fun out of it, so I don't get out as much as I should anymore, but I'll be posting a few here to add to the great imagery already on display
