Now my favourite.
A zoomed shot of a Damselfly on a Dragonfly!
Or is it? I am still not sure.
Look at the reflections.
As I snapped the Dragonfly laying eggs, the Damselfly appeared, seemingly standing on the Dragonfly's back.
No Photoshop. Just cropping and lighting adjustments in Lightroom.
Here's the wildlife. The boys are fast asleep after too much fresh air. Saw one grouse today on the driveway. Heard the beavers talking to each other down in the swamp.
I was taking photos of surfers on the North Shore of Oahu one day, and got photobombed by a humpback whale. Probably the best accidental photo I ever took.
I was an ENG/EFP videographer for a decade, later moved into director/producer role. Quit that after purchasing a community newspaper and ran that for a decade as Editor/Reporter/Salesguy.
So I have a have a love for the captured image. Never had that "natural" eye like some lucky folks have, I need to work at it a bit harder than many. But I do love taking pictures.
Mostly landscape stuff, because so many years of talking heads, b-roll, grip 'n grins and accident scenes kind of have driven me towards natural images of solitude type stuff.
My eyes are kind of going which takes a lot of the fun out of it, so I don't get out as much as I should anymore, but I'll be posting a few here to add to the great imagery already on display
I'm up in the northwest, near Meadow Lake area. Because I live near under the offramp to nowhere, you might be the closest forum brother I've ever had, besting one fella in Ft. Mac on another forum
