PEE NINETIES ROCK! Can Any Testify?

I've tried so hard to love them. Went so far as buying a 1957 Les Paul Special once: I thought it was my dream guitar, and I wanted to sound like Johnny Thunders, haha.
But alas, I just cannot make them work for me. Humbuckers all the way for this kid (although I keep trying to talk myself into getting another P-90 guitar)
Why would you want to play like a dying junkie?

I'm with you on this one. I've gone through at least half a dozen P90 guitars and I just can't bond with them...but, I'm not a Humbucker guy. Single coils do what I want!

Gotta use what works for you. I remember an article from a while back where Allan Holdsworth was talking about how he never really found "his" sound until he tried a Strat with humbuckers...then it all suddenly made sense.

This is my answer for a P90 Guitar Core CT. This thing is a Monster in a all out rock session. These P90s are made for Godin by Seymour Duncan. The thin Mahogany neck is fast, and the Cedar body is beautiful! The Pups are powerful and great tone. These dual pups pack PUNCH. DSC00107.JPG

Such beautiful craftsmanship.
Do wish I could do the same

Thanks. Wish I had more time to play with projects, and not neglect playing at the same time. It blows my mind how some folks like Ivan and Plexi can knock out stuff so quick at times. Wish I could do the same. There are so many talented people here. It's fun to see all their projects go from ideas to functional musical instruments, amps, and pedals.

Truth be known, I have yet to start my string changes on instruments that need changing.
But I have been playing more in recent weeks.
:H5: :)
