Pedal Boards:

Ok this should be it for the rest of the year. JTM drive out EQ in & PP 100HW out for the Bearfoot Model H. Not at those settings...just a pic.
Only got to play for a short bit but the misses is watching a movie on her new TV. I can say I don't know why I haven't gotten an EQ before! Don't count me as an expert opinion. I have been overly impressed with my $50 LP Superlead and the EQ even made it sweeter!

Editing this as I have been able to give the Model H a little more play & I am starting to figure it out and warm up to it.

* to note I thought I was getting the 3 knob (3K) Model H for some reason. I ended up with the 4 knob (4K). To boot these are a black sparkle. Mine is but it must be a custom paint model with the blue flames?

I tested this setup with the flanger moved into the loop and it was very quiet (i.e., the amp volume was very low) until I removed the volume pedal from the chain. Thinking about it later I decided that the problem must have been the output impedance level of the Decimator G-String into the volume pedal and so I put the flanger back in the loop before the volume pedal to use the buffer in that pedal and - voila! - everything works. So much for the whole 'true bypass' hype!!

I get dizzy looking at my board. It is like 50 feet hose with three ends. I use the Monoprice amp for recording. I put a new reverb tank in it and the correct wiring for it. I put a Green Back that I good to 30 watts. Better if not great tubes in it, those are the Sirman jobs out of Germany. The pilot light was going on and I fix it and put a blue lens on it for fun. That amp takes pedals in the loop great. That board has my better pedals on it. The Hot Rod Deluxe had the same mods done to it, even a blue pilot light. That board is simple because I take it to the place we have been working the last few months. It has my Ecoplex tape delay with MXR amp conditioner they say that I just had to put it in front of the MXR delay. The Klone over drive, Wah Wan, a Boss EQ and Boss Chorus. I have a lot of pedals that lay around like a Japanese City after Fat Man was dropped on it. I need to fix it up again as soon as the radiation drops. Looking at the half life of the an atomic bomb, I have at least till March to get on it.

How they catch you? I was set up by three neighbors, they all had their windows open and it only 91 out. That is no reason to want fresh air! Damn kids, buy them the books and they eat the covers.
 
Well I can see it coming; a whole next level, leaving politics OUT, just quoting the TREND.
The PC Tone Police coming to tell you to turn it not only down, but maybe OFF, because someone is Offended.
Not because it is too LOUD but because they can HEAR IT AT ALL, from what they may define as their 'safe space'.
 
Changed the dirt section up. Picked up a Jubilee cheap and traded the Model H for a like new SHOD Deluxe.

So, I've made a couple of minor changes to my board.

As a bit of history, awhile back I modified my Marshall channel switch to have a green LED on whenever the clean channel was selected.

This is what that looked like:

However, I was not satisfied with that. I wanted the switch to indicate what channel I had selected, whether clean or overdrive.

So, I gutted the innards of the switch housing, replaced the stock foot switch, added a connection for external power, and now have a switch with a green LED for the clean channel, and a red LED for the overdrive channel. BTW, these are just some run-of-the-mill LEDs I got from Radio Shack a couple of years ago. For those who may be interested, a 680 ohm dropping resistor works great with these (assuming a 9 volt supply).

Anyway, I spaced the LEDs out to be visually more symmetrical on the housing. To fill the hole left by the LED that I had previously installed in the center, I installed a switch that can cut off power to the LED circuit.

The observant may also notice a pedal missing on the upper tier, with a coupler installed in its place. This used to be my flanger pedal. I took it off. It started to fail on me and I've only used it once in live performance over a period of a few years. So, I decided to use the power lead that had been in place for the flanger and use it for the LED power for my channel switch. I use the channel switch a LOT. So, it seemed a better use of the power lead.

I may eventually replace the flanger, but an EQ pedal and a clean boost are higher on the priority list. I'll have to get another Voodoo Labs power supply, though.

Your board looks great and so professional. I took mine all apart and started with the basic. I have too many pedals but I use them all. A couple for just two songs but with out them it just doesn't work. I am building three boards and they are all connected to each other and my gig board is easy to disconnect, bagged up and packed to go. That is the only board with the pedals attacted to the board. The other two I move pedals around to get the best from each pedal. Some stuff I don't put into the loop on either amp. The Ecoplex Tape delay, Fuzz Face and Treble Boost are perfect in front of the amp.

A Si or Ge fuzz is often just after the Daddy 'O.
I am maxed on the One Spot Daisy chain.
I dont generally play whole songs or need to switch while playing yet, so the end table as pedal board
is much easier on the back and knees when knobs are a'twiddled.

When seated I put my foot on the bottom shelf, works well for me for now.

The chorus is usually near the end; I stuck it in place of the phaser just to try to like it again.
So far I am not.

I need a pedal board. I've never even considered one before. I'm lost.

Thus far I have a Boss 30L volume pedal, I suppose an A/B box, my DD-3 and NS-2 - not sure if I will continue to use the CS-3 or the GE-7.

Who makes a good board in this size range. I want to keep it compact and portable.

I've become a gear freak I guess...
