Putting an actual Gibson P90 in the guitar would require routing the ends of the neck humbucker cavity to elongate it. I’d also have to fabricate some sort of pickup ring or custom mounting.

Just an update for you folks.
I took the guitar and played it with Leedspool on Wednesday night and it sounded pretty good but it still had the old, poorly wound strings on it.
Anyway, I have changed the strings to Ernie Ball 11-48 and it sounds great now! It was a good purchase! I am quite pleased.

We have to try a sound test again like we did with the Gibson Les Paul setting at the rehearsal studio on LOUD !!

Ha ha give up, it’s going no where, this is by far the best thing I have ever purchased

We will update in a week or so after the sound test

The Gibson test was so close in sound it was astonishing
