Our Friend Kevin Paul Moore:

Probably a poor reflection on me but I didn't understand 90% of his posts.
Also couldn't figure out his out of focus photos.

Kevin was legally blind, and he struggled with photos. He spoke much like he wrote - bizarre, metaphorical passages that made little sense, followed by bursts of maniacal laughter.

Kevin was a master trauma surgeon and a resident professor at Philadelphia university medical school. He was also a phenomenal session guitarist and always played it down.

He was a kind, generous soul....I wish more of you could have known him as I did.

Guys,

Kevin Paul (Kevin Paul Moore) and I have been online pals since about 2015 on another music forum and we've been in fairly close contact by email, both before and after us coming here to TTR. I last exchanged letters with Kevin on October 22, 2018 and his last activity here in TTR was on October 23, 2018. It was really out of character for Kevin to drop out of sight, so I sent a few more emails and PM's and no replay ever came.

Kevin had recently sent me a set of Gibson Green keys, so I started backtracking for information about him in the Pittsburg, Pennsylvania area. I was saddened to find this:

Although no photos have been published, the name of his companion is correct, as is the names of some of his relatives that I gathered from our conversations.

Here's a photo I got not too long ago from Kevin...

Kevin was very private. But, he did share his Soundcloud Page with me:

Just seeing this. It's very sad. I'm sorry for the loss of all who knew and loved him. Especially his companion and you, Rob.

Kevin gave me a lot of Les Pauly parts from a June 2018 upgrade to a couple of his Gibson's....knurled metal switch tip...aluminum tailpiece....tuners....switch and wiring...tailpiece studs....screws....and all are being used on this guitar....

When I discovered Kevin's Green Keys didn't fit properly on the 59 replica, I swapped them onto my double neck...

The second set of Kevin's Green Keys are on my Aztec Gold Top Les Paul....
