Our Friend Kevin Paul Moore:

I miss him too! I was one of those who introduced him to this site when he was being harassed and piled on at the other site he frequented.

We PM'd a lot over there and became friends.

I met him way back over there. He was the first purchaser of the Silky Amp and got many of us involved in buying and fixing those up!

I also think of Kevin frequently. As long as he lives in our memories and hearts, he is still with us.

I had been thinking of him lately as well. I met him on the other site via the Silkyn amp as did some of the folks here.
The Silkyn has been my rig the last couple of weeks.
Playing it with the volumes up around 7 is a game changer.
Still need to do the dirt channel mods though.
I run the dirt channel gain at around 2 - just into break up and clean / treble boost or dirt pedals into that.

Thanks again Kev, for sharing your colorful personality and knowledge with us.

I knew KP from a different forum.

He was very unique, one of his best qualities from my perspective.

He also, wrongly, took a lot of :poo: from people that didn't get his way of thinking, they really hassled him over there. Even the mods, hence why I post here now.

Long live KP's memory, could use more individuals these days.

I have to say that I didn't know Kevin but did see many of his posts and comments. He certainly had a different way of looking at things.
I think I need to reflect on how I look at things and start to see the world differently, just as he did.
Agree. This is inspiring; it takes effort and even some courage to get outside each of our own boxes.
I routinely try to do this to understand perspectives of an issue I may not agree with.

My wife accuses me of playing devil's advocate or flat out "you're taking their side!!
No soup for you!!"

But I'm not.
