Unfortunately, i never got to talk to him on here because Im still a newbie, but its without any doubt that the guy was massively enjoyed and respected by all members who knew him, as clearly indicated by the love and outpouring directed towards him still today.
Its always awful to lose someone you know, its a lot harder when its someone you loved.

Kevin was a super cool dude and we chatted privately quite often. His unique way of thinking and posting was what drew me to him

Sounds like I wouldve liked Kevin more and more then.
I myself came from the "other" forum and attitudes there have definitely gotten worse. I still go back there because theres still good people active but i have found myself more and more drawn here, 20:1 easily. Definitely have posted and talked more here in less than a month than i did in over 9 years there, believe it or not lol
This place has a really awesome and laid back vibe, people joke here, more positive attitudes all over ( havent had one argument or even an angry response here), everyone kinda boosts each other up in general. I genuinely appreciate EVERY one i talk to here. That goes for ALL of you
