Opinions please...2x112 cabs vs 1x212 cab?

This was just a fluke, just a little reacquainting with my former love. The next day when I played it again I realized I spoke too soon. It's a great amp, but it needs volume to make the magic and I can't do that very often. I put it away. Disregard that post and any other references please, there was alcohol involved.
At any rate you are trying new stuff.
I had no idea that amp was 10 years old.
Wow.
Looking forward to seeing the cab.
I wish I could afford the SC20 you are selling. Not in the cards now.

I only have 1x12 cabs. 2 with V30s and 2 with greenbacks, all 16 ohm. I don't have any experience with 2x12s but I think having 1x12s gives better scope for variety, a mix'n'match kinda thing. Plus one of my amps only has an 8ohm output so I need to run 2 in parallel.

You have quite the nice rig there, kev. :yesway:

I already bought the 212 cab and I have a 112 also. I'll probably get another 112 down the road. Or who knows, I might end up getting rid of the 212 after a while and just sticking with 112s. This is one of those times when curiosity got the best of me, lol. I'm liking the look of the 212, and it sounds huge, but I may have made a mistake. It's actually bigger than I expected it would be and with the side handles it's not as easy for me to move around (with my neck issues) as I thought it would be. It's not so much that it's heavier, it's just awkward.

I've also been looking for a deal on a 1965a cab, but I don't know if that would be any easier for me to handle than the 212 is.
