Oooh NO! The Gibson GAS Affliction!

So, I just ran into this brand new hunk of burnin' love, courtesy of the re-formed Gibson:

It's the new ES-235 and is a fresh model from the new "JC Era" of Gibson.

It's a little smaller than an ES-125, but larger than a Les Paul.

Believe it or not, I'm considering selling both my Les Paul Studio project I built up last year and my Washburn HB-30 to help fund the purchase of one of these beasties. Even then, I may have to sell a couple of amps I don't use, anymore.

For reminders, here are the LP Studio and the Washburn...

I asked my wife's opinion. She just said, "Do what you want to do."

She also likes the ES-235, so she'd be cool with it.

So, what say ya'll?

I'd have to stay with that Studio....

I see the point.

However, I really like semi-hollow guitars and this ticks pretty much all the boxes.

Admittedly, I already have a semi-hollow in my Washburn, but this one has a different vibe.

Only you can answer that question. I see that Studio and I see $800/week easy money coming in...

what you REALLY want is a Gibson Sonex--- Im telling you -- you have not experiunced the FULL ON GIBSON NORLIN FUNKA DELISIOUSNESS ----until you rub your junk on a Sonex 180 DEluxe!
