Oooh NO! The Gibson GAS Affliction!

Sir Smitty of the East Coast Smitty's --
HAVE YOU PLAYED one of them thar E23 ma whatcha callits?

it might suck--(just saying)

I wouldnt sell a THING Till I played it first---I have had GAS for several things-- some I bought on line sight unseen-- and the SECOND I picked it up outta the box it was like---er crap--
Case in point the recent Ashdown 220 ROOTmaster -- I bought -- and after 10 minutes of dicking with it realized-- -hey -- this sounds like crap---switched over to my TRUSTY musty dusty ol HARTKE and went -- man the ASH sounds like A$$---
and it sold on craigslist in about a week---(for a profit)

dont think your gonna pull the "profit flip if ya dont like" with the E23 whatcha ma thinger.

Umm yeah it nice, I just saw a sweet Midtown FS I was diggin' but ain't got $1250....but what you looking for on that White Lester!

Okay, bros and sisters, chalk it up to temporary insanity.

I'd LOVE to have the new ES-235.

But, just pulled the LP Studio out for a little practice time.

There's no way I can part with this pearl beauty!

Plays like buttah!

You don't always need a new guitar, sometimes a bit of loving of a guitar in your arsenal does the job.
(Only having 1 guitar, I wouldn't actually know, but...)

:D

All you need to do is move to the east coast and we can start a band.

So, when can you be here? Should I pencil you in for next Thursday?

Maybe!!! That would be cool. I'm still wild as can be in the mornings. My BEST time to play!!! When I wake up, I feel so full of energy that I gotta go walk around the blocks or something or I might just explode....Kinda Phil-Xy in that regard....only he plays better!

Well, Smitty my friend... I sold three guitars in the last year and an half.
I never sell guitars. But changed my mind. I took less on each of them than
I hoped I could get, but I'm glad I sold them and am only looking forward
and not back.

Two of them, I let Elderly Instruments sell them for me even though
they take a big bite. The advantage of letting them handle the sales: They have a
worldwide clientele online
, plus I didn't have to have prospective "buyers" coming to
my house. My lady was a bit nervous about that idea.
So my guitars were snapped quickly up by buyers unknown, and Elderly sent me a check.
I wanted more money, but was satisfied to do it that way.

In your case, you should likely keep your lovely Les Paul, and sell the Washburn for whatever
you can get. Then figure out how else to get some funds. Take on extra work, or sell something
else. DON'T SELL YOUR SG... sell something else. After you've auctioned off a few fishing lures
and old postage stamps, sold one of your .357s and a motorcycle you were't riding, you can
get the guitar of your dreams.
