So, I fixed the 1976 Les Paul last night, put the aluminum Nashville roller bridge (gold plated) on my #1 Les Paul and was in bed by 10:30pm. My eyes just opened at 4:30am, so I made coffee and started running through the setlist for rehearsal.

Congrats. Man, years ago when had my moment of life or death type decisions. The following few months..even years The body, the mind..even daily lifestyle took a lot of courage to continue on. Was so worth it as everything healed on me & around me. Best decision ever made. Not a thing i cant do sober. Am available..for kids..parents...work..even me, with nothing in the way..no predictable downward slide. No bottle all day.

I know some that can do it(lost over 50% of people i know to various addictions)..i cant. One of the best outcomes was 16-17 hours of reg life..then at night , when my head hits the pillow, out, deep sleep & then up , right up with the energy to have another full day !!

Choice unfortunately. I'm trying to see if I can get my blood pressure under control without medication. Of course I have high blood pressure due to alcohol. I need to loose a few pounds as well. Sucks getting old.
