you would think but .... this is the UBER THIN finish of an LPJ
and you can barely make all of it out in direct bright light
now you see it (barely)

and that finish is so thin Ive rubbed through it where my forearm lays on the body ........

no thos are much deeper and defined mine are so faint you cant make out most of MADE IN

either way the finish isnt causing it --- more lock sloppy ass human error and not givin a crap --
Seems a company that claims authentic and AMERICAN, and HERITAGE back to the dawn of time .... would get THAT PART right its the true STAMP of approval the PROOF this isnt a fake... track the number see when it was born etc.

Hows the stamping on your Chibson ...... ??? nice and thic and deep and claims it was made in Tennessee as I recall.... yeah... its a ll a poop show at Gibbo

I'm honestly very encouraged by what I saw in those videos. I'm glad to see Gibson has let a lot of the "old methodology" go in favor of greater accuracy.

Save all that hand woodworking for the custom shop.

I think the new management is making some positive changes at Gibson.
