Not only metal gurus like speed

Musically this reminds me to Ralph Towner / Oregon (the group) - which i like very much

Wow. I really get more out of this sort of performance than watching shredding or listening to roaring amplifiers. I mean, I don’t hate that sort of thing; it is fun, and all.

But, something like this really captures and mesmerizes me more.

Just personal tastes, of course. But, very nice.

It's beautifully done...indeed. A highly skilled player. It's interesting to me how well this is performed.

I've never been a good spectator really. I've always preferred performing to watching.

Music, for me, has always been about adrenaline. Roaring amplifiers. Energy. The way the room starts to get instantly hot when 100 people flood into the dance floor at the foot of the stage...watching drops of sweat fall onto the setlist at my feet...the feeling of the Soundwaves from my cabinet hitting me in the back...the way the wood stage vibrates from the drum kit...the chants of "encore" from a wired crowd...getting home at 2:30am after a 6 hour show and not being able to sleep...

Nothing else compares to this experience for me. Almost everything else is a kind of let-down for me.

Now imagine the opposite: 2000 people in a concert hall. Absolutely captivated. You can hear a needle falling, literally. On stage: Andres Segovia on classical guitar.
