Guess this should be a motorcycle thread as well as a guitar...just gleaned this from the Yamaha Site.

INSPIRATION

Drawing from the stylish lines and honed performance of the Café Racer bikes that graced the streets of 1960s London,
Revstar embraces the concept of being stripped down, tuned up and dialed in.

DID someone say Black?

That's my black bike and my friends make fun of me for bringing my umbrella on trips. On this flash flood rain deluge in the NC mountains, I had it keep at least a couple of us dry long enough for this picture as we avoided getting washed away in flood waters rushing down the mountain roads.

...now I have to find something else to sell. Because I am keeping this one. The guitar is very well set up and plays like a dream. I've never been able
to do string bends as easy as I can on this one! The P90's are nice as well and I don't care for P90's they are smooth and mellow until I crank the amp
and then I get that P90 bite!

As for the manufacture quality...I'm astounded. I can't find anything at all to complain about. Fit and finish is just perfect.

This guy said it better than I have time to...below is excerpt from another reviewer!

After having this guitar for a few weeks I want to give the lowdown on it.
The pups are manufactured by G&B Pickups of Korea which seems to be an OEM for PRS, YGD and other brands.
I removed them to take a look at they use a spring and foam for pickup cushioning/height adjustment
Wiring and soldering is very clean.
The wraparound bridge is manufactured by Alchemy which is another Korean OEM
The bridge allows all kinds of saddle movement and bridge movement to get the perfect intonation.
The string slots of the bridge are a very nice smooth soft V which will help with string grabbing (ping) and there is no need for any lube
The nut is urea plastic and is cut perfectly but seems to easily wear so I have lubed it up to help with that
The frets are done very very well but I did give them the Mark polish using 3M polishing paper and Meguiars M2 then Meguiar's M9. Perfection mirror shine was the result.
The matching of the sating nickel color across the tuners, pickups, knobs and bridge is uncanny perfect.
I threw on a set of Cobalt strings which I am really liking. The factory strings (Elixir) were nice but worn out quick.
The fit and finish (sorry this sounds like I work for Yamaha) is utterly amazing for a guitar that is $530 from Amazon and it can hang with 2k guitars all day long. I love the aged binding and the fact the fretboard and headstock are bound.
The neck is 3 piece mahogany and no scarf joint. Talk about having a stable neck!
The neck plays well and the glossy finish is not sticky or grabby and your fingers glide easily over it.
The tuning machines could do with with a finer gear mesh since there is a tad bit of slippage.
Volume and tone control are very precise and smooth. The push/pull dry switch is a subtle feature and can give that little bit extra that you may be looking for.
The finish is steel wool brushed and I really think it is done after the satin top coat goes on. The brushed finish easily polishes out from your hand running while playing and even adjusting the control knobs you can see a glossy half circle around them after a while. This means the guitar is really turning into your own BUT, if you are like me I want to keep the finish as close to what I purchased as possible. I found a way to do this and is why I think the steel wool was rubbed onto the finish after the satin top coat was applied and dried. I take a flat DRY sponge and put a line of Meguiars M2 across it and wipe ONCE full length of finish with hard pressure. The polishing compound is really abrasive when you first wipe it on then it diminishes and starts polishing. So wiping once brings back the steel wool finish pretty well and I am good to go for another few weeks. Of course this will get to be old hat sooner the later but hey, it works. Maybe if I resell this guitar down the road I will do it or maybe I will just keep the guitar cause it is such a nice piece of bluesy goodness!
