Why the 2 output jacks? A piezo somewhere?

I did the rickenbaker "rick O sound" wiring... the first jack is stereo and could be plug into a stereo/two mono box, which allow you to play two amps at the same time , each pickup driving a different amp... the second jack is mono and allow you to use the guitar as a common guitar , on one amp.
I guess John's guitar was about the same

Roger builds spectacular guitars, and makes many of the parts used for the final creation. I have a set of his handwound T-Bird pickups in the Thunderbird bass build that I finally finished a year ago. They sound spectacular. Someday, I hope to have one of his Crestwood Customs.
