HAHA my actual cat had different plans for now. He hopped back in my lap for chillin time. I give him credit, he wanted to be outside all day and most of the night despite it being in the 20's out there and snow on the ground. He will sleep indoors tonight. That's it for tonight. The cat ( Kathy ) is away. Time for the Big Mouse to play ( guitar)
@JohnnyGoo, G' MORNING GOOOOOOOOOOONice looking V Chilli. You still got that SG classic ??? The SG in the pick looks to have Humbuckers in it. That a Gibson Les Paul or your Epi ?
Thanks @TVvoodoo, NOTICE your name has 2 's V in it, hmmm.'nother red rockin' vee in the house! Looks great, glad for you it's sitting well. I can't remember the last time I ducked under a guitar that felt entirely foreign... how much fun is it gettin' intimate with a new gal, right? LOL!
I get the V GAS maybe twice a year, this is causin' another damn flare-up. Couple of days ago I found myself looking at Star guitar kits, not a Booty Collins, the one like in the old Carvin ads with that Starship guy, Craig something-or-other?
I digress!

Happy (belated) New Guitar day!
Congrats Mark! I love it!!
What is the neck profile: slim taper or more rounded and if rounded somewhat chunky or still slim?
What does it weigh, and does it neck dive?
What pickups?
How well do the strings stay in tune well with the more pronounced angle from the nut to the tuners?
While I'm not really GASsing for anything, a Gibson V like that interests me enough to possible add the right one in the future.
The pots would probably benefit greatly from Deoxit F5 Faderlube.
Dont use regular electronics cleaner it lacks the necessary lubricant.
Dont over do it or the pots may become TOO easy to turn, which may or may not be desired.
It can be more of an issue on a Strat volume knob that is easy to bump with the picking hand.
I have this very issue on one of my strats.
