A black pickguard on a natural ash or blonde Tele is a pure classic look.
The neck binding is just added class to set it apart from the crowd.

cheers Hackmaster. the binding was an unusual touch which kind of drew me to it when I first saw it. I'm liking the new look a lot.

I have now admitted to myself that I like the light body and maple neck colour combination on Fender style guitars more than a rosewood board neck so this one fits into that preference nicely. My dream Strat BTW is Olympic White with a maple neck and board. Not likely to ever have one as I have the Strat look, feel and sound covered already, but it doesn't hurt to have that in the back of the mind just in case...one day perhaps.

thanks Mitch, this guitar is certainly scratching my Tele-style itch. The feel of the finish is also something that I find really satisfying. it is super thin and really natural feeling which is unusual for a Poly finished guitar...

I dig the antique white / white guard / maple board strat deal too.
I dig the black with white pickguard rosewood board Tele.
the tele colors I really fell for hearing / watching Bernie Leadon play his at Eagles concert in 2015 (? I think)

Eagles thoughts - strangest thing - the lead from Witchy Woman just started playing in my head just now.

Nice...looks like there is a whole range of tones in that one with the range of pickups on there!

Out of 4 different ones he had this one was my favorite (because of the humbucker) and yes it can nail quite a few tones!
