NGD & Restoration - Peavey T25

I tell you mates, this neck fought back! After AT LEAST 6 hours of sanding, she is done. That last sliver held on for dear life. Now time for wipe-on poly to seal the FB and a clean nut seat when my new files get here

Looking real good. A prefab shim from Stewmac? Radius looks on the fat side... What is it?
12" radius, which I love because it really accomodates big bends. Those StewMac Shims are so expensive! I have one @ .25 degree. I occasionally hit the mark fabricating one on the belt sander. Let's see how much in needs.

Most luthiers or repair techs just use business cards for shims. Easy to trim, and fit your needs. Heavy weight paper is also good, as it's a bit thinner. For those times when you need something "in between."

I might have a 0.50° shim available, if you need it. Please feel free to give a shout-out.

I have found that a little angle goes a long way and takes away the need for much of the height.

Nice job Ray. It sure does have a lot of "character".
That's a tasty burst as well. Not overdone as some can be.

A fine resurrection indeed.
