I tell you mates, this neck fought back! After AT LEAST 6 hours of sanding, she is done. That last sliver held on for dear life. Now time for wipe-on poly yo seal the FB and a clean nut seat when my new files get here

12" radius, which I love because it really accomodates big bends. Those StewMac Shims are so expensive! I have one @ .25 degree. I occasionally hit the mark fabricating one on the belt sander. Let's see how much in needs.Looking real good. A prefab shim from Stewmac? Radius looks on the fat side... What is it?

I might have a 0.50° shim available, if you need it. Please feel free to give a shout-out.12" radius, which I love because it really accomodates big bends. Those StewMac Shins are So expensive! I have found that a little angle goes a long way and takes away the need for much of the height. Most luthiers or repair techs just use business cards for shims. Easy to trim, and fit your needs. Heavy weight paper is also good, as it's a bit thinner. For those times when you need something "in between."
