NGD - first Floyd

OK Robert, Now that I am checking out the Hellraisers further I see they make a C-1 FR and a C-1 FR S. I looked at Schecter's site to see Sustainiac electronics..... Did you or DonO get one of these or just the FR version?

Did you try out the FR S if not?

Curious as to why on the guitar vs just in the guitar case? Do these things need constant adjustment?

No. If you break a string you might need the big one. You also need the big one if you want to back off the locking nut to adjust tuning with the tuning pegs. The smaller ones are just for adjusting intonation etc and you would never use them in a live setting. But it is useful to know where they are when changing strings and they look cool

Got it, thanks.

Our bandleader has the E1-FRS with Sustaniac in the neck (see photo below) and it's kinda cool to produce some crazy feedback effects, but its just not my cup of tea...

All this Schecter posting, and Roberts pics of his trans purple Hellraiser was too much GAS for me. Delivered today. I told myself I wouldn’t do any playing in the unfinished studio until, well, it was finished. Held out quite a while, but today I busted out the Kemper and 200w Headrush and jammed away. This guitar is just solid. Great setneck, the neck plays like butter and easy reach up to the 24th fret. Haven’t worked the active control too much yet, it was just fun playing the dang thing.
