NGD: 2018 Fender American Professional Stratocaster Project

Well...she is all done, save finding a set of knobs I like. The white ones I ordered are just TOO white and the ones I have on it look much better.

The tuner install and string trees went without issue. Setup was a breeze...very nice low action, no fret buzz and perfect intonation!

Plays and sounds and even looks as good as my 1994 Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster! I have $1000 wrapped up in it...so if I flip the Custom Shop...

That’s a great looking job and good news about how well it went for you!

That is a great looking neck.

Personally, I don’t use the string tree on my Strat. I haven’t removed it; I just pass the strings over top of it and the strings never touch it. The return to pitch is better that way.

Thanks! It's always nice when a guitar project goes well...my Rosewood Telecaster was a disaster!

The roller trees seem to work without a problem...and I don't use the bar a lot...

That's sure a great looking guitar Mr. Sp8ctre and I bet you can't wait to install that neck pick up switch which will make your guitar complete. All you need now is Schaller strap lock buttons like on my Strat to ensure your axe doesn't have any dropping accidents on stage. Do you have a vibrato bar for it also?

Sp8ctre, I am late to the party (again) but I have to say that this is one fantastic looking Strat! The neck is outstanding and I love the 3 ply pickguard's black line as noted previously. It breaks up the white body/white pickguard perfectly.
