Lovely guitar, and congratulations - looks really nice.
Because of the finish, I keep thinking it's a studio faded (which I wouldn't consider a lesser guitar at all; actually the faded "oil" type finish is great), such as here:
Gibson.com: Les Paul Studio Faded 2016 T
(This example is a 2016 - and at that time I looked at tye 2016 studios and the 2016 studio fadeds and much prefered the latter.)(I think the faded studios have a mahogany top whereas the studios have a maple top and nitro gloss, also the faded was chambered more than the studio (although that changed from year to year).) For heavy rock/metal, the faded is supposed to have a great burstbucker sound, think Gary Moore.
Really nice choice, imho.
&, since Gibson bought out these "tributes" at silly prices, the studios and studio fadeds are keeping their price strongly.

. For a strip down Gibson LP, it looks damn good! Hey... How come the backside control covers went from black to white?
