I have taken Sysco's post to heart. Last night I doweled the holes inthe neck and began sanding. We shall see.
I have relocated the neck. Pics will come when I trim the hard lines. And in other news...Hopefully it will all work out. The woods on both of the guitars are too pretty to be used for anything else but for sonic mayhem.

Shop clothsWhat are you using to temporarily plug up the holes?
Then I would have a shifted neck and shifted pup routes. Better to just put the bridge where it belongs, I think. I wish I had your skill! Not sure if it is possible,,,,,,,,,,,,, but rather than move the bridge,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, could the routs be redone to shiift the pups, or even rout em for P90's?
I do not need the guitars as much as the experience. I enjoy this stuff ad want to get good at it. If it was not such a beautiful liece of wood, I would be happy for the obsticles.Man, with all these mods, I’d be on to buying a new body. Good luck in your conquest!
I successfully relocated the neck, so I won a battle. Unfotunately, the strins will be too far off the pole pieces, so I am back to moving the bridge. Now I need walnit dowels!
No, the neck is shifted to the upper horn in that photoRay, I only said that because the routs look off center.
