Looking at one of the first pics posted, the neck pocket appears pretty straight:



Maybe the bolt-on neck can be reset. But the neck's screw holes will have to be filled. Other anomalies might show up though... Like gaps between the sides of the neck heel and the pocket.

I'd get a refund and inform the guy his work was shoddy unless Ray actually did the drilling and routing etc.

Dolmage must not have a very good eye for measuring or routing. He is no SG Lou for sure is all I can say.

Hopefully it will all work out. The woods on both of the guitars are too pretty to be used for anything else but for sonic mayhem.

I successfully relocated the neck, so I won a battle. Unfotunately, the strings will be too far off the pole pieces, so I am back to moving the bridge. Now I need walnut dowels!

Then I would have a shifted neck and shifted pup routes. Better to just put the bridge where it belongs, I think. I wish I had your skill!

I do not need the guitars as much as the experience. I enjoy this stuff ad want to get good at it. If it was not such a beautiful liece of wood, I would be happy for the obsticles.
