I found a Pat.# pickup reads 7.29 ohms should fix the hot ceramic bridge pickup. The neck pickup is fine.

The bad the seller changed the pickups Seymour Duncan SH-1 and SH-5
The good on close inspection the guitar was never played it's like new.
See how it works out at band practice today if not I have a 1958 PAF set real out of a ES-175 in gold the guitar was trashed so I parted it out.
$500.00 back in 1982 if I only had a time machine. This is my first Explorer so I'm Exploring the possibility's. Next will rewire it 50'S.

Winning. Installing the old Gibson pat# pickup huge improvement 4 hours Band practice took it through the motions.
It's a pro level guitar now should change the neck pickup next. Getting Burst tones out of it surprising.

20 year old wood 1958 neck profile gold hardware 8 pounds Reverb pulled the photo's it's the exact guitar in the video.
