What really got me going, was LRT’s thread, show me your riffs, I had had a few words with Joe Solarburn and we hit that thread hard , and LRT and I joined the same day ha ha , and when no one busted my balls I just kept on going with it. And here we are, I much prefer to listen to all my buds here playing than the radio,

You have single handedly kept that thread alive dude. There have been many attempts at threads just like that one over the years, but they've all petered out in almost no time.

Dude I can remember pleading with other members, to post something, then I would bring back something that I had already posted, lol it has now stayed on page one on its own, but I still post them there and here :2Thumbs: :):cheers:

I remember. I had already been a member there for several years, and even I mocked LRT for even thinking about posting a thread like that, as I had already seen several of them fail lol

Then, out of nowhere a wild Herbert Mitchell Pearrow arrived and leaped entire pre conceived forum walls and buildings in a single bound!!

I actually have it closed, thanks bro, you guys have me under the gun now, I have not been posting clips because I am not getting any new ideas.
I know this last one tonight, is a bleed over of a couple of other things, but I am working on something.

being a musician who has walked the path of originals for 30+ years..never playin a cover ...these threads are the best..in a way i pay closer attention to originals..cause..i think its the artist inside us...a song is a special thing...

the gear is being used to create..not chase someones tone..major dif approach....Mitch opened that garage 2 years ago on MF ..that did it i posted our first song....so cool to have support...with other musicians it will always be tricky some make it a contest..its not ..i take the music very seriously & you original guys have the most respect from me..any genre..any sound..i appreciate original music more than anything...no tabs...your are the tab

the original scene was always so fun..the bands were in it together,,vs the bar cover scene in a way,,it took us all working together to get these shows off the ground & the calls would come as each band was breaking dif territorry,,,its so cool to see people reacting to something they never heard before,,,and liking it...never against covers just saw the limitations of going somewhere with it as a band. have friends in major tribute bands,,they hate it..one buddy who started one of the original tributes way back..so burned out, he had to quit music..great guy..runs sound these days.

i been hammered by people for years but at the end of the day..have about 100 songs done professionally that mean the world to me...something to show for the gear,,the practice...now if somehow that door cracks open 1 last time & we get out...def know what to do...ready..

These are old ideas that LRT and I decided to try to build on.

This is a basic (phone, yay! :sick:) recording designed for practice purposes when we ain't jammin in the same room together, so this is just blink and pa. Pa's our drummer. But only when we don't have a real one around.

Right now, it is titled On the Run:
