To possibly be continued

Nice !! Enjoyed that

Lol...that "lead" player sucks but thanks BFT! LRT and I must have ran through that song 8 times that night, we were extremely hammered, and evidently LRT thought that this recording is the best of the bunch that we got that night lol

That "lead" player is also doing "vocals" as well...lol ...and not doing such a fine job at either one lol

Mitch.....it's self-deprecating humor...

I am the "lead guitar" and "vocals"....I'm allowed to say that I suck... lol....right?
there is goodness in that tune....there is a great riff....darn nice solo and the vocals are fitting...that would be a great song to break it down and track it....going at it all live is tough at times for capture unless there are mic's on everything necessary & trying to avoid bleed thru:dood::electric:...you get a star on your paper for this one...

I do want to break it down and track it. I think I can do a better job at both playing the lead and doing the vocals if I can focus on one job at a time...On the one hand, my lead work suffers a little bit due to being distracted by the vocal work and same thing vice-versa. Missed notes and whatnot. LRT and I are working towards getting the necessary tools to get tracks recorded, I think all we need at this point is an interface, and some kind of DAW. Thinking Reaper might be the route we go with for now. Until then, we're kinda stuck with a phone to attempt to capture everything live, so if I don't get the wah pedal clicked all the way off, or if I Intercourse up a riff or a vocal line - that's it....it's there for good lol

....actually, right now I'm reading that Reaper won't run on an Android, but what I do have is a Samsung Galaxy Book, whis uses Windows 10 as an OS. I'm not entirely sure but I think I could use Reaper with this. If not, then I must look into a laptop or a PC of some kind to run the DAW on. If so, then all we need at this point to begin getting tracks recorded would be an interface.

If it runs Windoze, it’ll likely run Reaper. You will probably want an external hard drive to record to(you would assign the drive-or a folder on the drive-as a destination for audio files). Writing audio capture files to the same drive that is running the OS, DAW program, and handling the interface, is not always the best scenario. I’ve been doing fine recording to a little USB drive...nothing fancy...recording up to 10-12 tracks at a time In Reaper on an old(2010) Mac Mini...
There’s lots of stuff to choose from for affordable interfaces these days too...from USB mixers, to little 1-2 channel boxes.

Yeah, I kinda anticipated the need for an external HDD, I suppose one or two of them should go on the shopping list. Until then I think I have a couple flash drives that could serve the purpose. I think I might head out to the jam space and start messing around with some of that today, actually. Still need an interface but at least I could get started

Here's the interface I'm looking into.
Through sweetwater its $359.00 but also found it through reverb for around $200.00
I figure that it can do an ok job for drums until second one is acquired. Then for mic's I'm thinking for now a sm57 and a condencer mic not sure what one though. I'd like to be able to mic 2 speakers on the cabs when recording
