Look it over and if it is not right, send it back.
I have been looking at used MIM strats and that is in the price range.

Damn I wish I could jump in on that too.
 
It's got a full 45 day no hassle return, warranty, etc - so, I hope I love it, but if not I'm supposed to be covered. I've been trying to find a keeper tremolo guitar to live along side The Slime. I don't have much luck buying guitars online - I always seem to get the put together wrong and never should have left the factory - lol. But, The Slime - man, the guitar is just put together correctly in all the right places. Hopefully this guitar will to, but I'm not naming it until I know it's allowed in the club for good type thing ;)

Ya, well, I figured what the hey. After you and me sending a couple hundred emails back and forth - both of us trying to talk/con each other into buying it first - might as well share the experience with the TTR Herd...

This particular strat set up is actually the only black guitar that I really like - it just really seems to fit the strat (to me anyways) - seems natural for it. I'm kind of partial to sunbursts, browns, orange, and green finishes. My wife says purple is best, but blue is better - so, I'll do blue too as it makes her smile type thing. But, yes, I think the color is very nice for this guitar.
