New Guitar Purchase and Project...

Well, being that my new resonator guitar is just too heavy and actually a bit back heavy at the same time, I decided to get older wood based American made Dobro. I'll probably sell the new Regal. I have a plan though....

I contacted my "paint guy" in FL and asked him if he could paint the whole thing black then age it according to the guitar's actual age. It's a '96. There happened to be a guitar of the same model as my new one on eBay as the "after" example. It was way over priced though and came from Japan. Here is the "after" example...

I should add that mine is in much better condition than this one.

I'm a huge fan of flat to semigloss black acoustics. This one is cool in that is comes with a real logo'd Dobro case. For the record, this is when Gibson owned them and they were still made in the USA.

I'll keep you a ...breast.

This is no longer happening, folks. The guitar was presold before me and they canceled my transaction. No biggie, actually.

I do leave you with tears though because I really want this .....
