It might not matter, I think I'm going to go back to my original plan and use the maple neck. Now that it has a couple of oil coats on it it matches the top like they were made for each other.

Well poop! I thought I was ready to start putting her together and just realized all my new pots I just bought are linear so now I have to wait on new pots to get here. Doh!

Still, I mounted the neck today and I'll go ahead and put strings on so I can align the pickups and mount them. I tried to get a pic, but I've somehow messed up the settings on my camera and can't get a picture to come out anything but blurry and out of focus...working on fixing that.
 
Now that I'm messing with it with this neck on it and looking at it I'm not really liking it. The colors really don't match at all from a distance. The headstock is a much lighter color and looks off to me. I think I'm going to wait on the Wenge neck to get here before I put it together. I might just post a NGD thread when I get it done, there's really nothing more to show here.

I ordered mine about a week ago. I have a long wait!!! My is a custom build also:

Roasted Quartersawn Maple One Piece CBS Large Headstock

1-3/4" @ nut

V profile 1.00" thick from 1st fret to 12th fret

Black walnut skunk stripe

10" x 16" compound radius

Gold Jescar EVO fretwire .104 x .047"

Black face dots - white side dots

Graph Tech XL Black Tusq Nut CNC cut for .009" x .046" strings and to give .019" 1st fret height

Yeah, you probably do have a long wait. What you said earlier made me think you have already been waiting a while.
